M3

We’ve had a great first term in M3. The class are really working well and appear to have enjoyed our ‘Communities’ topic. A highlight of this was when the children created their own made up towns with their own laws/rules and other interesting features.

A major focus has been on developing thinking skills. The children have responded well to using thinking tools such as P.M.I’s, 6 Thinking Hats, Brainstorms and Thinker’s Keys.

We now look forward to and exciting inquiry unit based around ‘What it means to be a New Zealander’ in Term 2.
